The weapon has two attack styles, crush and stab (idk when you would use stab quite honestly). The special attack rolls double your current style’s accuracy, usually crush. Now you may be asking, okay what’s wrong with that? A crush weapon has a crush spec. Well guess what style the spec rolls against your opponent’s defense? Slash, obviously. So now we have a crush-style weapon with a crush-style spec that calculates damage against slash. No bueno! I found this out by missing the large majority of my specs against Calvarion, and had to look further into it.
