Edit: seems people might be taking this wrong. I mean the girl is genuinely interested, she’s wanting to meet you, trying to arrange it. She might even gets back in contact years later to try again but never has any free time what so ever I’ve had it a few times now where I’ve hit it off with a girl and we’re planning a date but they have a crazy schedule you have to work around. This isn’t the polite excuse to reject a date too, often times they’re the ones wanting to do something but asking when they’re free its like trying to catch the next eclipse. Some examples of what I mean: I’m chatting and flirting with a girl, she says we got to get together some time, she asks when I say I’m free all weekend or sometime next week. She can’t cause she’s busy all weekend and away for 2 weeks, so why even ask. Another girl is eager to meet for a drink, cool I can meet her, except she needs to meet her friend, talk to her brother, arrange something with work and then play a gig then she can meet me for a drink but she’s also got to get the last train home so the date only lasts 45 mins. All dates were planned like that Chatting with another girl and she asks me out but turns out she doesn’t have a single day during the week where she doesn’t have something after work or commitment or something so I have no idea how she expects to get that date. Its girls who seem genuinely interested in dating you, some of these girls have even come back later in my life and tried again but they just have absolutely no free time what so ever and make it impossible to date them. submitted by /u/Rorsaur
