There are hundreds of famous AI Agent tools people use or at least know about. And underneath that, there remains many underrated ones that don’t have the recognition they deserve. Here are my top 5 underrated ones (I’m gonna include Claude directory links as they’re safer to trust that way. All tools have GitHub repo also except for the last one): https://claude.ai/directory/letsfg
- This tool allows your AI to do live lookup on flights and hotel inventories. Type something like: “Find 3 hotels in Lisbon for 4 nights, only me and my wife, and show me the total with every fee plus the cancel date. Ignore any hotel with consistent noise or customer service complaint. Also expose any hidden fees customer complained about.” Best for: People who want to book international group trips, and want to make sure you are getting the best and cheapest options for the least time spent https://claude.ai/directory/alltrails
- It lets your AI search a huge trail database (500,000+ trails) for you. Ask it something like: “Find 3 easy hikes within 1 hour of Lisbon that are good for a Sunday morning with a dog, under 2 hours each, and tell me which one has the most shade.” Best for: Very frequent hikers like me who struggle with choosing a location based on current situation. https://claude.ai/directory/consensus
- It lets your AI search real scientific papers (200M+) and answers some complex questions with actual proven data. You can ask something like: “Does creatine actually help memory? Look at the studies and tell me what most of them say and how strong the evidence is.” It is the first thing I use before I believe any scientific facts on the internet. Best for: Folks who make a lot of scientific discoveries on the internet and want to be sure if they are true or not https://claude.ai/directory/pubmed
- Very similar like Consensus (the previous one), but it is totally focused on the medical field. You can ask your AI: “Find the 3 most recent studies on intermittent fasting and sleep and tell me in plain words what they actually found.” For medical stuff use PubMed, but for general scientific information from any papers, use Consensus. This one is best for: Medical research focused folks https://claude.ai/directory/legal-data-hunter
- This one is incredible if you want any information about the laws. Works very well for normal people as well as for lawyers or law students. It lets your AI read the official laws and court rulings of 160+ countries (EU law included), so your AI can quote the real source and doesn’t have to guess. You can ask: “My flight in Spain was cancelled. Find the EU rules on compensation and tell me what I can claim.” Please be aware that it is a research tool, but not a lawyer. Best for: People who want to keep discovering new interesting laws or learn new laws with the help of AI in a fun way. But also for people who want to do a quick search up for an accurate information about any law. Enjoy :) If you have any other underrated tools, drop it below submitted by /u/Efistoffeles
