I returned to osrs after a 2 year break and went straight to the usual, slayer, some skilling, learned ToA, etc. Finally I said I should finish the new quests because I wanted to kill vyrewatch sentinels a bit quicker with the new sunspear and needed sailing quests for clue scroll steps. So I started questing and boom, now I needed to do sailing which I was dreading, it didn’t look fun to me and I didn’t wanna learn it. I was struggling at first with all the new mechanics, but got into it pretty quick. Now I’m just charting tasks from port to port, discovering everything and it’s incredibly fun. I’d advise not to use any guides, exploring everything on your own is so fun and rewarding! If you haven’t given sailing a chance yet, do so! submitted by /u/constipated-rodent
