Alphabet fell about 12% in a single day this week, its worst ever, and one big AI ETF is down roughly 15% from its summer high. Everyone’s arguing about whether it’s a bubble, but I haven’t seen much about what it means for the technology itself. The dot-com crash killed a ton of companies, but the internet obviously stuck around. I assume AI follows the same path, though I’m not sure the comparison fully holds. So what do you realistically expect over the next few years? Slower progress, fewer players, cheaper tools? My guess is the tech stays and the weaker companies don’t. Curious if people working in the field see it differently. submitted by /u/Witty_County5128
