Claude Trail head is a game that takes non-coders from “what’s a terminal?” to a live app they built with Claude Code, one small chapter at a time. It also provides basic commands for users to understand and reference to later. What players learn Terminal basics: moving between folders and making new ones, without fear of breaking anything. Setup: installing Claude Code, signing in, and starting it in the right folder. Working with Claude: asking clear, specific questions, giving Claude a project memory file, and stopping it when it goes off track. Planning first: writing a short brief, reviewing Claude’s plan, and pushing back on anything that doesn’t belong. The build loop: one change at a time, tested in the browser, with save points in Git. Fixing and undoing: finding the error message, giving it to Claude, and rewinding changes they don’t want. Shipping: putting the app on GitHub and publishing it as a live website, then sending updates. After the main trail, four side quests unlock: building a weekly feature habit, planning a shared database, connecting a custom domain, and a speedrun to set up a second app. I hope you find this app useful and feel free to give me feedback! submitted by /u/Hairy-Literature-912
