So, my current struggle that I’m facing in this game is that I feel like I’m just mentally inept when it comes to facing bosses and understanding them like other people do. Basically, I’m trying the best to be good so that I can play with my friends. I’ve been avoiding playing with them because I don’t want to let anyone down with my bad performance. For instance, I’ve struggled with so many quest bosses, whether that’s the Mage Arena II bosses, the Song of the Elves final boss, Royal titans, and even lately the Strange Creature from Secrets of the North. I realized that I could fight the boss from Secrets of the North again, which I felt like I lucked completely out on. I’m just having immense trouble grasping all of these in the fight:
- Switching 7 pieces of gear (from ranged to magic, or vice versa)
- Trying to click through the menus to get to my prayer or inventory to eat, while also trying to avoid the boss walking towards me.
- Trying not to mess up and get hit by the corruption spell, because of the significant damage and prayer drop. I just feel like I’m too inadequate, too slow trying to grasp all of this stuff and not fail. It’s just, I don’t know, I see so many people say all of this content is easy, and I’m just not getting it. submitted by /u/not-off-white
