I’m 31. Live a good life with lots to be grateful for. Luckily, I don’t have to deal with assholes too much but it happens from time to time. Last night, I was at the bar with friends I was in the bathroom and some guy said something and I chuckled at it. He responded saying that I had the “gayest laugh he ever heard.” I told him to fuck off. He was like “I’m just being ironic.” I said to him that he was being a homophobic asshole. He then sounded like he might have tried to apologies but I just walked away. I really hate getting angry. It makes me feel like I lose brain cells. I can count the number of times people have pushed my buttons and I reacted like that. I really prefer not to have interactions like that but sometimes it feels like people go looking to start shit. Idk, people are weird. Do you ever deal with situations where people are being assholes? submitted by /u/dylan95420
