Okay seriously, what do we know about it? There is a lot of confusion and even misleading answers out there and a lot of guesses. Some people say that companies like OpenAI even lose money on their paid customers while others say that they are highly profitable. Chatgpt said that it costs around 1$ for /million input and output after running some calculations. We must have some public data and inference costs from there.
