I came across an Instagram reel recently that got me thinking about something I hadn’t really considered before. In the reel, a guy talked about canceling a date after seeing the woman’s Instagram posts, which he considered exhibitionist. His argument was that many men find their partner attractive and sexy, but prefer that side of her to be something shared privately between them rather than something displayed publicly for everyone else. It got me into a bit of a thought-provoking cycle, and I started wondering what other guys actually think about this. These are some questions on the top of my head: ● Would you be comfortable with your girlfriend or wife dressing provocatively or posting revealing pictures on Instagram? ● Would you feel that your partner sharing that side of herself publicly takes away from the intimacy or exclusivity of your relationship? ● Or would you see it as her simply expressing herself, with no impact on your relationship whatsoever? I am not asking this to judge anyone’s choices. I’m genuinely curious about how different men perceive this, especially when it comes to attraction, exclusivity, and boundaries in a relationship.
