I think it will be like a meme one day. As in people will laugh at it. It won’t be reinventing though, it’ll be just going to back an invention. Like people keep rediscovering old stuff because their youtube/fb/insta/rrredditt algo did not feed it to them by then and they ignored school studies; similarly I suspect the day people run out of tokens fast, someone will come up with a video, “hey, guys and girls, you know what , instead of using your ai tokens to generate these images, videos, gifs etc; which are almost identical to eachother; you can use these websites, these host free images, videos, gifs to use, can you imagine! free to use! When did the last time you heard something free to use! I sure did not! Stock photos videos gifs , and they’re not perfect and exact like the ai generated ones, still you do trial and errors to generate the right one on AI; it takes time and tokens. And the message of the video is almost conveyed by these FREE TO USE ones as well, almost as good as the ai generated ones can. And you can save your tokens for your month-end , one video where you want maximize the custom output. So checkout these websites now.” Because I’m seeing there’s a rise of too many ai generated scenes in videos by youtubers, some are even incorrect, like talking about a white woman, showing an Indian woman because probably they’ve been generating Indian women and the ai just stuck with it. Eventually the tokens will cost more and more. And we’ll back to stock photos etc. Hopefully by then the websites survive somehow. How the costs have gone up, old data might get scraped from data centers for the sake of ai! Which is trained all these free ones as well, I suspect. Let’s see. Hopefully we’ll return. Because I think it was a good, helped the websites, helped the photographers and i think it’ll help the future. submitted by /u/Sas_fruit
