Anthropic just keeps adding more and more rules about how you can use their models. When it was just about safety and not doing things that clearly break laws or harm others fine, that’s one thing. It’s still a restriction, but its defensible. Now every other day a new stealth enshitification is added. It sounds great on the surface, protecting the intellectual property of game devs. On the surface sure. But it’s a blunt instrument. The real problem is it’s always more restrictions, more safeguard, more limits, never less. Anthropic is putting themselves in the position of deciding what you can and cannot do even when there are entirely legal and valid dual uses. Just keep pilling on the enshitification until the whole thing collapses under it’s own bloat. It’s a one way street. Today is the best Claude will ever be, every day from today it will be worse. Sure they can make the model better, but all the restrictions remove the benefit. submitted by /u/YearLight
