There were some initial confusion around the droprates due to vague formulation in the newspost, but we have since gotten confirmation that trios are approximately 30% worse in terms of personal purple chance than a duo (assuming equal contribution and no deaths). Link to a key comment by Goblin below. Higher scales are even worse. https://www.reddit.com/r/2007scape/comments/1xmnp6t/comment/19s2mx63w0jc0/?context=3 TFA was designed to feel best at 3-5 man, with lower scales being more difficult and higher scales a bit more chaotic. After doing around 80 raids of various scales I agree with this, my personal favourite being 3 man. I don’t understand the thought process here. Why design a raid around a certain scale and then not balancing the drop chance around it? When it comes to how a raid feels, purple rates matter. No matter how good a 5-man feels mechanics-wise you’re still going to feel like you’re wasting your time. Nobody does 5-man ToBs for this reason. Don’t get me wrong, it’s fine if duos are slightly better rates than higher scales since those are more difficult. As it stands now however, with a 30%+ difference you are trolling if you do anything higher than a duo. submitted by /u/lazybeef123
