I got in to a relationship with a great girl 5 months ago and my friends have been slagging me about it. I had been single for 5 years and now I’ve met a great girl who I’m very happy with but she lives 2 hours from me so we alternate spending weekends visiting each other between mine and hers as it’s the only time I get to see her. My friends have been making remarks about how I’m not around anymore even though I always make an effort to spend plenty time with them during the weekdays, sometimes they are around and sometimes I might not see them much if they are busy but I always make time. They have been questioning me on how much I see her lately and it’s beginning to annoy me as I I’m trying my best to balance making time for them but also seeing my girlfriend on the weekends. I’m very happy with the routine I have but it seems they are a bit spiteful of it or trying to comment on when I see her and when I don’t. It’s a bit disappointing that they don’t seem to be happy for me now that I’ve found someone I’m happy with. ( we are in our late 20’s) Am I in the wrong here? submitted by /u/Fit_Funny99
