I’m a college student running Claude code agents around the clock but my setup isn’t exactly optimal. I only have my laptop, so I carry that around with me in my bag with the sleep setting turned off, and when I take it out, my laptop overheats like crazy. I once tried leaving it at home, but then I had to use my phone for work in class. I then set up tailscale and termius so I could check on stuff from my phone when I’m using other orchestrators (when Claude Code remote control isn’t available). I’ve tried experimenting with cloud vms and agents, but those don’t have all the stuff on my laptop. I’m also too broke to invest in a Mac mini. I’m thinking about building something for myself, but I don’t know if I’m missing something here. What do you guys do? And what’s annoying about it? submitted by /u/EleScoDrift
