Not a dev project, but very much a Claude Code workflow. I’m a teacher, and for the past week Claude Code was my edit suite for a music video (“The Blue Tsunami Has Arrived”: https://youtu.be/XB3uxAlRlTE ). What I built: a 2:49 vertical music video (14 versions), a 16:9 reframe, three vertical Shorts, and the actual publishing. How Claude Code was used: Audio surgery. I generated the song in Suno, but the best vocals, best band take and best ending were in different generations. Claude Code A/B’d versions, spliced on beat boundaries, laid the old band under new vocals, and fixed timing from timestamps I gave it (ffmpeg + loudness normalization to −14 LUFS). Video assembly. Shot timing, lyric placement and transitions were rendered from a script in the repo, so every change of mind was a re-render rather than a re-edit. That’s how you get to v14 without losing your mind. 16:9 reframe. Each shot reframed for widescreen, with lyrics re-laid out for the wider frame. Frame-diff debugging. I reported a character “added all over the beginning” of the wide cut. It pulled about 90 paired frames from both cuts, compared them, and reported that she was in both versions, then refused to “fix” a non-bug. Correct call. Clips. ffmpeg 9:16 cuts with title overlays kept inside platform safe zones, cut points re-detected for each new version. Publishing. It drove a browser to fill in YouTube Studio (title, description, not-for-kids, the AI-content disclosure) and stopped for my OK before publishing. What broke / lessons: Browser automation couldn’t attach local files to an upload form. The fix: a tiny localhost-only file server (allowlisted paths, CORS locked to the one origin), with the page fetching the blob and injecting it into the file input via DataTransfer. The automation’s Chrome window was parked off-screen, so I spent ten minutes unable to find a button. Check window coordinates first. Sandboxed workers can’t bind ports, so that step needed a human to paste one Terminal command. Taste never got delegated. Claude did the surgery; I was the very picky patient.
