I’ve been Yallo user for years, I had my Yallo Black and I was happy with it. As everybody knows, these operators launch every year the black friday deals and as well all the operators practice the same strategy, they write always “discount for life” and then they increase every year the base price, which is totally fair because they never ‘lied’ to you in terms of wording. My Yallo increased from around 23chf now to 28chf. And on their website they advertise the same abo for 26chf. So I called them, as I usually do, to match the price. This time they answered me that it’s no longer possible. At the same time, Wingo has a similar abo now Wingo Red Pro. Slightly worse in terms of data roaming but very close. And to be honest, I don’t need all these data when I’m travelling, so it’s more than enough. This abo is advertised on their website for 28chf. I thought to myself, for the same price I rather switch to Wingo since they use Swisscom network, usually the coverage is better, specially on the mountains. Here’s the trick/astuce: On the Wingo website, you choose the abo, finish only the first step “Next” but don’t finish the entire application for the transfer. Wingo will call you next morning and you can negotiate with them. I got the Red Pro abo for 26chf, matching the price of Yallo Black. So I have now a better coverage, still with the roadming data I need and ‘paying less’. Hope this helps. PS: check the comments, people are posting more Astuces submitted by /u/EliasVornfeld
