For more than a decade, I’ve been developing an independent mathematical research program. Over the past few years, that work has accelerated substantially through collaboration with AI. I’m now making it public under the name Komoreb P. At its center is a proposed mathematical framework called Realization Calculus, alongside Komorebi Space. The goal is to develop a general language for mathematical operations, representations, transformations, reconstruction, and the boundaries of what can be realized. The scope extends across mathematics, computer science, physics, and artificial intelligence. The public research collection includes: Mathematical papers, monographs, and worked examples. Extensive Lean formalizations and proof libraries. Python, C, CUDA, and numerical computing implementations. Research in number theory, special functions, signal processing, wavelets, quantum systems, and computational mathematics. Theoretical work on machine-native reasoning, algebraic signal models, and new approaches to AI architecture. I’m also making a deliberate decision about how this work enters the world. I’m foregoing my institutional support and affiliation in bringing this research forward. Given the rate of development, both in my own work and across AI and mathematics more generally, I no longer believe institutional backing is necessary to justify making the work public. The pace of discovery, implementation, and formal verification has fundamentally changed what independent research can look like. I would rather place the mathematics, proofs, code, and open questions directly into the hands of people capable of examining them than wait for a traditional institutional pathway. That doesn’t mean the work is beyond criticism or independent verification. Quite the opposite. Public scrutiny is part of the point. I believe one of the most consequential possibilities in AI is not simply building larger models, but developing mathematical foundations that machines can use to represent, transform, and reason about information. Komorebi is an attempt to explore that possibility systematically. This is not a claim that AGI has been solved or that every proposed construction has been established. Parts of the research are formally proved, others are computationally tested, and some remain open or experimental. AI has played a substantial role in accelerating this work. I don’t see a reason to obscure that. The research, the verification, and the remaining gaps should all be open to examination. I will continue on proofreading, updating, and formalizing the work involved. submitted by /u/HamOnWhy
