the thing that bugs me about having this much intelligence on tap is that it’s the most agreeable advisor i’ve ever had. bring it a useless thought and it’ll find a way to make it sound the best thing i’ve ever had, or point out the “load-bearing assumption” hiding under it. the “point out my blind spots” prompts work for a few turns, then it drifts back to agreeing. and the problem isn’t that it’s wrong, it’s that it validates you right where you’d normally hesitate, so you commit harder than you should. so i built glass. you bring something you’re about to do, messy is fine. it asks you questions, up to 15, one at a time, about 15 minutes. it doesn’t advise and it doesn’t agree with you. at the end you get a map of what you actually said (pic). free, early test: https://tryglass.fly.dev/ , code reddit-orchard. what you type is stored and i read it to make it better. looking for the harshest read i can get. if it feels like a chatbot with a prompt, tell me where. and genuinely curious, does anyone else find the “challenge me” prompts fall apart, in a very ambiguous manner, after a few turns? submitted by /u/TRP347
