I don’t consider myself anywhere close to the most AI-pilled person these days, but I work at an AI company and live in the bay. It was probably 6 months ago that a friend of mine was like, “Dude, you should really start using WisprFlow. It’s game-changing.” I think I tried it for a day or two and said “meh.” Never used it again until probably 3 to 4 weeks ago. Now I use it all the time, and I basically hate how slow I type. I just got their fun little engagement lifecycle email and was surprised that my first month of real usage put me in the top 2% of their users with ~40k words dictated/transcribed. Am kinda surprised for a few reasons, and would love to hear any/all reactions: 40k words in a month doesn’t feel like all that high. i do talk fast. anyone care to share their level especially if you’re in the top 1% or top 10%? if 98% of users are using less than me and I’m certainly not at the beginning of the early adopter curve, that’s probably a bearish signal for the space. yes? I’ll be very happy to keep paying $15 a month based the perceived value, but if I had to pay per word, I would certainly be far less likely to hit that shortcut to start dictating. I also returned to an office today, and one of my first observations was how incredibly awkward it is if to use WisprFlow while sitting next to your colleagues. I think one of the reasons I used it so much the last few weeks was working from home and from the car. submitted by /u/mtns_of_magic
