I used 91 million tokens in April and 38 billion in October through the 28th. That’s just Claude Code and Codex on one machine. Lines added in my repos, one machine: 291k in April, 245k in October through the 28th. A bit down even. The code didn’t get much bigger. It got a lot better. Agents review each other’s work now. I steer with docs and research instead of writing the code myself. Markdown was about a quarter of the lines I added in January and February. Since May it’s been 41 to 51 percent every month. That changed more than the amount of code did. March and April were when it flipped for me. Before, I wrote and the AI reviewed and autocompleted. Now the agent does the work and I handle the exceptions. How are you measuring whether the code is actually getting better? submitted by /u/ChemicalExcellent463
