At work I started using GitHub Copilot a few months ago (electrical engineering with a lot of coding involved) and it improved the speed to implement things a lot already. Last weekend I signed up on the claude pro plan for my private projects. Since Friday I created a tool that mostly automated my 2d asset pipeline. This includes multiple viewpoints, skeleton, rigging, animation, skins and a character creator, unreal plugin for a character animation component. It designed an automated wiki for me and Claude to search for information in any of my projects (and can decode unreal blueprints). I did an unreal 5.4 to 5.8 migration of my project and half of the migration from blueprints to c++ code. I hit two weekly pro plan limits in 5 days but my mind is blown how well this works. On my own it would have taken me one or two months and most of the time i can just give him tasks like he is a coworker. submitted by /u/Scraaty84
