I recently met this girl who I work with, and she happens to be someone who I really enjoy hanging around with. She has a great personality, she’s funny and kind, she’s an awesome person. During our shift of when we first met, she asked me out to the movies and dinner…and I happily accepted her invitation. We went on our date, and it went really smooth. We both enjoyed our time together. No kissing, no explicit behavior, just good and chill vibes. As time goes by, we start calling and texting more often. And it got to a point where she starts showing her affection towards me with how I look, how I act, it became clear that she really likes me. At the time, I got a weird feeling towards that which had me wonder why I would not want that from her. I was confused since I enjoy talking to this person and everything about them is great, so why would I want to pull myself back? Then I realized it’s because I’m not attracted to her… It sucks since I really like her personality, but her looks is not what I want in a woman when I want to date them. Not that she’s not my type, but her physical looks don’t match with someone who is considered pretty or beautiful in my eyes. I rather do something about this before things get serious like her wanting to see me more often to become her next boyfriend. I would really prefer to be a really good friend of hers and leave it at that since I do love to hang out with her. But I don’t know what to do since this is someone that I see often at work, and I hate to break the truth towards someone who treats me well. What should I do about this? submitted by /u/Business-Ad1587
