Vibe coded games are becoming insanely popular, and something I’ve noticed is that, contrary to what many people believe, there’s actually a pretty large audience that genuinely enjoys discovering and playing AI-generated games. We run VibeToplist, a discovery platform for AI-assisted and vibe-coded games, and the growth we’ve been seeing is from another world. More developers are jumping in, new games are appearing daily, and players seem increasingly curious about what people are building with AI. Some projects are surprisingly polished, while others are clearly experiments that probably wouldn’t have existed without AI making development so accessible. But it does make me wonder whether we’re entering a bubble. If practically anyone can build and publish a game, will we eventually end up with thousands of low-effort projects competing for the same players? Or are we witnessing the beginning of an entirely new era of indie gaming, where the best ideas finally have a chance regardless of someone’s technical background? Personally, I think both can be true. I’m curious how others see this developing over the next few years. https://vibetoplist.com/ submitted by /u/CuntsAndBluntss
