A friend works in industrial lubricants business. He is telling me that he has about 100GB of various technical documentation, spec sheets and other stuff on various lubes. He wants to make a chatbot that would provide relevant info upon request instead of having to dig into those docs manually every time. His plan is to upload all that stuff into the cloud and point Claude to it. would that even work? IIRC, that is what RAG is for but maybe something has changed already. What do y’all think?
