It’s very basic so far but looks pretty good considering I started like 3 hours ago. Right now I’m simply asking ChatGPT to replicate certain features and functions I like in Maya (I’ve only focused on tools for 3D modeling and shaders and nothing else so far) and then downloading the development build and testing it. Also got it to read some documentation about the tools and navigation from the website. Thing is, I found out today that you can use AI to build your own programs and software, so I’m wondering if they way I’m going about this is slow and outdated? If there is a better way to construct what I am attempting to do then I’m all ears! My goal isn’t to make a perfect replica, just something close, a little watered down while only keeping the features i need and use on a daily basis, and something that a Maya user can quickly understand. submitted by /u/Kiiaro
