I’ve got a monthly subscription to Manning Press and want to get into AI, which I know is not one subject. I took Calculus and Linear Algebra in college (B student) but it was a while ago and I’m not looking to build frontier models but rather learn how they work and be able to speak somewhat knowledgeably about them and get a piece of the AI pie, whether making some niche models or doing MCP, maybe some chatbots, something to get both feet wet. Put me in, coach! Of course I’ve used Claude and ChatGPT and some open models to help with coding so I’m not starting from absolute zero. Manning’s AI and machine learning catalog is huge so there have to be some gems in there? submitted by /u/jkj_2000
