Hey, We are the engineering team at Stride AI (US-based). Like many of you, we got sick of the 2 second delay and awkward interruptions in real time voice AI. Most existing solutions feel too sluggish. In fields like humanoid robotics and real-time voice agents, once response delays cross a certain threshold, the human brain stops perceiving the interaction as a natural conversation and flags it as synthetic and uncanny. High latency breaks the illusion of presence. We also don’t believe in a one size fits all architecture. Every stack, hardware setup, and latency budget has different requirements. That’s why we built a modular voice engine targeting ~380ms latency with 0.2s native interruption support, designed to integrate flexibly into custom environments. We are currently opening up early pilots for technical teams, robotics builders, and developers. If you’d like to test it out in your own stack and share feedback, please reach out directly at [ hello@heystride.co ](mailto: hello@heystride.co ) submitted by /u/Aysimacelik
