So a sales guy has recently convinced our CEO that openclaw is a revolution. He’s convinced him that it can run our entire back office, automating sales emails, information analysis, and internal document tracking, etc. He wants to setup a $5k Mac Pro and run this openclaw on our internal network. He keeps saying he’ll have stop gaps to prevent it from exposing our data, but he knows nothing about databases or networking. I have cautioned about the fact we can’t really contain it and how no matter how many guardrails you place, it will still be a risk. The sales guy has refuted me by asking claude to find a solution. What definitive evidence can I put in front of the CEO to show this is a bad idea? submitted by /u/JungleDiamonds1
