Hey everyone! I’m thinking about getting Claude Pro for a month to try out Claude Code. I’m currently using Codex with ChatGPT Plus, and I’m pretty happy with it, but I’ve heard a lot of good things about Claude Code and want to give it a shot. My main concern is the usage limits. For those of you using Claude Pro, how quickly do you hit the 5-hour and weekly limits? If I’m actively coding for a few hours a day, would I run out of my weekly allowance in just a couple of days? I’m also curious whether using Opus instead of Sonnet makes a significant difference in how quickly the limits are consumed. I mainly work on Python-based AI agent libraries, so I’d be using Claude Code for implementing features, refactoring, debugging, writing tests, and working with relatively large codebases. If you’ve used both Codex and Claude Code, I’d really appreciate hearing how they compare in terms of usage limits and overall value. I’m not expecting unlimited usage for $20, but I’d like to know whether Claude Pro is actually practical for regular development. Would you recommend trying Claude Pro for a month, or are the limits too restrictive to make it worthwhile? Thanks! submitted by /u/TensionOpening6036
