We’re all already holding too much in our heads bcz of this reason my opinion about how ai chatbots should behave👇 As of now to this date we have got so many Ai models! Of which here I wanna talk about the ones which are used as a personal assistant! We all use the free chat bots AI for this purpose! You guys can comment down your favorite systems you put in place as your personal assistant.( Most ppl stick with one Ai model and live with it) Comment down so we could see if there are ppl who use multiple even though it is unlikely I’m curious! The point is…: that these personal assistant chat bots would be the better description of 'em we initiate the chat all the time! Hey ai I wanna… Can you … Etc. I think instead the model should welcome you by I mean initiate the talk with the context of the chat ! ( Eg. Hey we’ve been discussing this and this here what’s so far and how did it go on your side? ) cuz we ( majority of the ppl ) use it as a personal assistant instead of using it just as a chat bot. These models need to talk to us first instead of us! Of course except for the very first time I.e: new chat. Your thoughts on this with a short info about what kinda user you are! Omg I’m bad at putting my thoughts 💭 into words (verbalization) Here’s an AI SUMMARY of my idea if you can’t understand my poorly worded text blob! " Most of us use free chatbots like ChatGPT or Gemini as personal assistants rather than just one-off search tools. But right now, the interaction is entirely reactive. When I come back to an ongoing project or open the app later, I hate staring at a blank slate where I have to do the mental heavy lifting to remind the AI what we were doing. I’m not talking about background notifications or 24/7 pings. I mean when I open the chat, the model itself should initiate the interaction based on our recent context—something like: ‘Hey, we were mapping out X yesterday—did you end up trying that approach?’ It should welcome you back by carrying the torch, instead of waiting for you to spark it every single time." submitted by /u/Formal-Assumption862
