Hi everyone, I’ve owned my diesel car for around 4.5 years and driven approximately 200,000 km during that time without any major issues. I’ve now received my first invitation to bring the vehicle in for its MFK inspection in Switzerland. One thing I’m curious about is the EGR system. It was electronically disabled via software almost immediately after I purchased the car. My question is: will EGR system be checked during a standard MFK inspection? If the car is passing the particle tests, are they checking deeper into the ecology? I’d appreciate hearing from anyone with similar experience, particularly diesel owners or people familiar with the Swiss MFK process. submitted by /u/oVIDEOS9880
