I’ve had a silly crush on my online coworker for roughly the past 2 years, recently we’ve become a bit closer and will message each other jokes/talk about things unrelated to work during meetings we’re both in. I had managed to get rid of my crush for him a few months ago, but ever since he started messaging me during meetings it came back and hasn’t gone away. I’m in my mid 20s, he’s a couple years older than me. I’ve accepted that I’ll never make a move and it will never go anywhere, but I think the intoxicating/fun part about having a “crush” is the wondering whether or not they like you back, and looking for little indications that they do.
