Hi all, I am a non-EU citizen and have been in Switzerland for about two years. I heard that it is not so difficult to change jobs if you hold a B permit. My permit is somehow long (longer than two years, and it is my first time receiving it), so I thought it would be much easier as I would not even have to renew the permit for the time being. I checked with the migration office, and they said I am tied to my employer. I got the confirmation of my B permit within two weeks; maybe this was the reason why. My question is this: what is going on with my permit, and how difficult will the job change be? Will my new employer need to process lengthy administrative tasks and sponsor me again?
