Hey guys I’m from Switzerland, and i got a new job at sales. Some background information: I come from sales b2b and I always made around 5.500 a month which is not crazy in Switzerland, but a salary that you can live with. Now I started a new job, first time B2C in a eyes clinic that sales laser treatments. My job is there to close the deals with the customer, after they received the medical intakes. Condition: I got offered 3.000 base salary and per client I will get 50 franks on top. The CEO who I had my job interview with and who is also my direct boss for sales told me that if I do my job decent, we would have around 80 treatments per month on my name. Means we would be at 4K commission only. So combined with my base salary we would look at 7.000. he would pay me the commission after the treatments done. I think that’s also a fair way how to do it. I compared also the year of 25 January and February and I increased the numbers in the first month by a 100%. Today feb. 25th I got my paycheck from January and because I couldn’t plan any treatments in January because the agenda was already booked I don’t have much commission. All in all I made 8 Treatments. Today I got 3020.-. I expect in end of march my feb. commission that should be all combined be around 6025.-. March looks the same. At the jobinterview and also several times after I told him that my goal is to reach 7k, he also always hyped me up, that it should be no problem at all to reach it and we’re on a good way. I work 6-7 days a week since I started 3 months ago, I work + 50hours, clients can always call me… Should I negotiate the base salary after 3 months or is it too early? submitted by /u/LingonberryMany7192
