Two years ago I got divorced. I kept the apartment, and my ex moved out. Last year then was the first time I was responsible for managing the finances here in Switzerland (my ex was Swiss, knew the systems, had been doing it already for years on her own. My mistake because it lead to financial abuse). Anyway - last year I got the Serafe in September. Along with a small fine for not paying it in time. Even though it was the first ever letter I’d received from them. I called to dispute and they said ‘it’s your responsibility to inform us if you move’ - and then they wouldn’t accept that I hadn’t moved. So… other people in my village got their bill in January. A couple got it two weeks ago. I still don’t have it. I called them and they said they come in the first half of the year.
