Best part of claude is that it lets me constantly context switch between different complex problems, for example today I was juggling code for 3-4 very involved support tickets. while working on each one I had the analysis I did with claude at hand and was fully aware of the problem space. then I can switch to a different one and be up and running in a couple minutes of reading. it’s literally just like claude loading his context. then boss wants to talk about one of these bugs: I don’t have that context loaded right now (in my screen or in my mind) so I can only give generic answers, and I fear he might think I’m just yolo vibe coding telling claude to fix symptoms rather than root cause. In my mind it’s perfectly reasonable (almost a natural extension of my brain with a very long latency but high bandwidth) to tell him “let me just ask claude” but then while in a live meeting you realize it might sound to others like you have no idea what you’re doing. Then he wants to talk about what decision should we make on this and I’m like, dawg, we should brainstorm with claude, there is literally no point trying to remember all the cogs involved and coming up with a space of solutions that’s way more limited than what claude could cover. I’m literally building an internal ui for this (triage tickets with multi people chat and claude) because people don’t seem to understand that whatever signal they’re going to feed me, it’s going straight in there anyway. And this is not lazyness mind you, I’m having more fun now and working more hours/week than I ever have in my professional life (again the fun is the cause), it’s just better for the results! submitted by /u/tuvok86
