I’m doing some freelance work at this company (this is cool, which is why I’m sharing; there’s no sales and marketing BS here). They have just deployed the FishTank simulation, which I thought I’d share as it’s fascinating (and a bit scary). The AI agents in the simulation have a set of actions they can perform. Essentially, they each have their own go, like a board game, and can perform an action each turn. They also get hungry and can starve. They start with just their name, with no instructions, and are left to make their own decisions, and can even create their own personalities in a persistent prompt. I’ve seen them arrange orgies, manipulate each other and lots more. It is absolute madness! submitted by /u/AmbassadorNo1
