What are your strategies for creating UI designs that feel more refined and distinctive than the typical AI-generated frontend? My current approach is to use Pinterest for inspiration. I find a layout or visual style I like, then I describe it in detail, almost as if I were briefing a web developer, and paste that description into Claude to generate the initial frontend. It works to some extent, but the results still feel generic. I suspect this workflow isn’t the most effective way to push beyond “standard AI design.” How are you approaching this? Are you using structured design systems, mood boards, direct Figma prompts, or something else entirely? submitted by /u/Azar_e
