With every content update something will significantly change secretly. Maybe the Ancient Wyvern Shield gets distributed like hotcakes and crash the market! Other unimportant things aside, let’s talk about F2P Fishing, and how a cowbell amulet dramatically changes how quickly you can bank river fish… profitably. See, as a F2P player, one of the things I struggle with is inefficiency. I love willow and oak trees, and how close they are to a bank to allow me to continue gaining experience. I love the fishing by draynor where I can bank my shrimp and fish at an early level. What I hadn’t liked was how far away river fishing was from a bank, it’s just far enough that it feels like everything is slow, and makes you wonder if you should drop your fish or cook them on the way to the bank. Well, it had been until now. I posted this in the osrs page, but I feel as though I want to share this with as many people as possible because, as a person who loves the fishing skill, I love what I’ve found. With just an air staff, law runes, water runes, and the cowbell amulet, I can shorten my banking time to just 27-30 seconds by teleporting to falador, dropping off inventory, then bam, cowbell amulet to the cow farm with the fishing spot right outside of it. Sure I give up 2 inventory slots, but that is a small price to pay since my inventories full of fish more than pay for the 1 air rune, 1 water rune, and 1 law rune required to run this method.
