I see this everywhere in commercials, movies and shows. This isn’t some new phenomenon either. I’ve seen it for as long as I can remember and I’m 39 years old. I’ve always been repulsed by the idea that we as men can’t seem to shake this stereotype. It drives me crazy. I love my ability to take care of myself in my marriage. My wife and I tag team household chores and all of the invisible responsibilities around the house and kid. Is there a truth to this stereotype and I’m just blind to the world around me? Help me understand. submitted by /u/Picklejuicerpro
