I don’t own a Tesla and haven’t followed Elon’s every move / agree with everything he says. But I was recently looking into the economics of Robotaxi to see if I could get rid of my car one day, and stumbled into a rabbit hole. I started mapping out how Eon’s companies connect to each other - the links are pretty insane. No way he didn’t plan this at least a decade in advance. Let me know if I missed anything. - xAI & Tesla: Grok gets integrated to power in car assistants, Optimus, and eventually FSD decision making. In return, Tesla’s Dojo and xAI’s clusters share workloads, making AI training cheaper and faster for both - Starlink & the “Global Fleet”: Starlink provides zero “dead zone” and high bandwidth connectivity for Tesla’s autonomous fleet and Optimus bots on Earth. (and eventually beyond). They never lose connection - The Boring Company & Autonomy: If Robotaxis drop the cost of driving by 5-10x, traffic becomes a nightmare. Enter Boring company as a necessary pressure valve for congestion. - SpaceX & Optimus/Cybertruck: Optimus and Cybertrucks are the rugged, autonomous form factors needed for off world workers and rovers. They get flat packed into a Starship to Moon and Mars. Optimus bots, powered by Grok, will maintain and expand Starship fleets and build infrastructure - Boring Co. Off-world: Boring Company builds the underground bases on Moon and Mars via Starship deliveries, protecting humans and tech from cosmic radiation - Tesla Energy & The Data Infrastructure: Megapacks and solar powers Starlink ground stations, xAI data centers, and eventually Moon/Mars colonies - Neuralink & xAI: Neuralink eventually Neuralink becomes the human bandwidth multiplier, allowing humans to keep up with AI as it scales Idk, feels like a video game. submitted by /u/Key-Acanthisitta-472
