I’m an 18 year old girl, I’ve never dated anyone, I’ve never been with anyone, I haven’t even had my first kiss (SOS). I don’t think the reason is appearance, because I’m not ugly, but that’s not the focus here. Is dating really that good? I spend a lot of time thinking about what it will be like when I date and I fantasize about it too. I’m afraid of creating too many expectations about this. I’ve been called demanding many times, both when it comes to the ideal man, appearance, way of acting, etc., and what I expect from people’s behavior… I want to hold firm to the idea that one day things will change, one day I will leave my city and meet new people, friends and be more sociable and maybe even find a boyfriend.
