So I don’t know how to code at all. I run a family e-commerce business selling saw blades (not exactly tech startup material lol). But I’ve always wanted to build a social media platform that brings back the old internet. We’re talking MySpace style customizable profiles, AIM style buddy lists, chat rooms, away messages, wall posts, guestbooks. Everything the internet used to be before algorithms took over. I used Claude Code to build the entire thing from scratch. The whole stack. I’d describe what I wanted and Claude would build it, I’d test it, find problems, and we’d go back and forth until it worked.
