Hello everyone, I noticed im not really using the spare bedroom in my apartment and wnat to rent it out. How do i go about renting the room for a fair price. Online it says i can rent it up to 20% higher than what i pay for it if its furnished. The room would not be furnished itself but the whole apartment is. I have a fully furnished living room kitchen bathroom hallway balcony with grill etc. I spent more than 10k on all of this so i want to account for the fact that someone will basically be using them for free. Can i still add 20% extra of that one room, should i add extra something for furniture? The most fair would be to ask for a 5k deposit, bearing in mind i paid 6k deposit for the apartment and 10k for furniture but nobody would consider even close to paying this much as a deposit so i really dont know how to bridge this gap. Anyone have any ideas? The gap is not profiting from anyone but making sure i get compensated for the use of my furniture which I paid a lot for. submitted by /u/tight_shoe_778
