Quick tip for PC gamers: because of regional pricing, games on Steam can be way more expensive here. If you check LEGIT authorized key sellers instead (e.g. Fanatical, Gamebillet, Humble Bundle, etc.), you can often save a lot of money. For example, I picked up Resident Evil 9 Deluxe for around CHF 50, while it was CHF 80 on Steam. Death Stranding 2 is about CHF 45 instead of CHF 80. The main downside: once you redeem a key on Steam, you can’t refund it even if the game runs poorly or you don’t like it. So no safety from Steam. Also important: only buy from authrized sellers and avoid grey-market stuff. Many of those keys are sourced from stolen credit cards or other shady methods. That can lead to revoked keys, developers losing revenue, and you potentially losing access to the game. Personally, I still recommend waiting for proper sales most of the time. But for titles I really want to play at launch, getting a legit discounted key has been a solid middle ground. submitted by /u/meppel
