This is my first time posting here, but I wanted and needed to hear a female perspective on this issue. Basically, I’m a 24-year-old guy who started a “situationship” with a girl a few months ago. We had sex, did stuff together, and went on a few casual dates. The connection faded and she started to pull away, even though I wanted her to stay close. I respected that and moved on, but I’d be lying if I said I hadn’t thought about her several times over the past few months. Last week, some friends and I went out to a bar/nightclub here in the area and I ran into that girl there, after three months without contact. We talked a bit, kissed a few times, and my friends finally met her. A few days later, her best friend (who, by the way, became my friend too and we talk from time to time) told me that she had told him about our reunion, etc., and mentioned that she thought one of my friends was hot. I know it sounds stupid, but I haven’t been able to get it out of my head since I heard this. Especially because my friend is more attractive than me, tall and handsome, and I’m short. Now I keep thinking that the girl is interested in my friend and doesn’t want to see me anymore. I also think she never found me attractive. For the women here, what’s your opinion on this? submitted by /u/mix3456
