Forgot to answer the second part: four years in and yes I’m happy. There’s friction now and then, of course, because we are both humans who experience life in the first person, but at the end of the day I am happy to share a house and life with my wife.

Because my girlfriend was pleasant to be around and I thought it would be nice to share a life together. It’s impossible to know if you’re properly “in love” but it’s very possible to look over and say “yeah I could spend the rest of my life around this person”.
