The relationship changed for me from being in love to loving. The interactions got more genuine and intimate and a comfort set in. I when from trying to impress to getting to know better and acting accordingly. We grew to becoming a team when the kids came and of course still occasionally arguing, but maturing to a level where we know that we say/do things sometimes when we don’t mean it because we’re tired or have a bad day. I can be how I am without any pressure and she can be the same.
