I’m not completely sure but there’s more than one reason I can think of.

1. I don’t want to make a goofy face
2. I’m concentrating very hard on what I’m doing
3. Focused on my partners body language
4. Depending on the position I might be working really hard
5. I’m probably focused on the act not being too short, if you know what I mean
